Flights For Their Future CIC - Greener Gigs. FFTF's 1% Club and FFTF's The Greener Carpet

Announcement – New: Greener-Gigs, the FFTF 1% Club and The Greener Carpet

Flights For Their Future CIC has introduced Greener-Gigs and the FFTF 1% Club, two contribution models designed to support woodland creation, biodiversity and nature-led community projects alongside cultural activity.

Alongside this, FFTF has also developed The Greener Carpet, a sustainable, culture-led alternative to the traditional red carpet, designed to sit quietly alongside events without changing the experience for artists or audiences.

These models connect music, entertainment and creative culture with long-term woodland creation and forestry projects that restore nature and protect wildlife.

Importantly, they are designed so that nothing extra is asked of audiences. Fans attend events as normal — the contribution happens quietly in the background, led by the artist, production or organiser, while the focus remains on the experience itself.

Castle Fine Art

Flights For Their Future CIC has been in discussion with Castle Fine Art, the UK’s leading fine art retailer, about potential ways to connect art, woodland creation and community projects.

Castle Fine Art represents many renowned artists, including Bob Dylan, Johnny Depp, Billy Connolly and Marvel, with galleries across the UK. Further details will be shared if and when plans are confirmed.

By exploring ways to connect art with woodland creation and community projects, FFTF CIC is considering how creativity and environmental stewardship might work alongside one another, building a legacy rooted in both culture and care for the natural world.

The Mid-England Barrow

Flights For Their Future CIC will also be working with The Mid-England Barrow to expand its memory and memorial tree work. Set within a beautiful and historic landscape, further details will be shared in due course.

Supporting Flights For Their Future CIC

Flights For Their Future CIC is sustained through a combination of donations, land partnerships and project-based support. This enables us to carry out long-term woodland creation, hedgerow planting, habitat restoration and biodiversity work across the UK.

Contributions help fund practical delivery on the ground — from tree planting and aftercare to site development, community access and nature-linked wellbeing spaces — as well as the essential work involved in developing and maintaining responsible projects.

Working with landowners

Landowners are a vital part of Flights For Their Future CIC’s work. By offering land for tree planting, groves, woodlands and hedgerows, they make regeneration projects possible and help shape landscapes that benefit both nature and local communities.

Further information for landowners is available via the dedicated section on our website.

Ways to support FFTF

Those who wish to support Flights For Their Future CIC can do so in a number of ways, including making a donation, planting a tree, volunteering, or purchasing items through our online shop.

All support is voluntary and helps sustain the work over time.

With thanks,
Charlotte, Harry and the Flights For Their Future CIC team
