Flights For Their Future is about to release an ECO Clothing Range - Taster at the bottom of the page
We have been working with Visibull Art and Design on this range who provide unique, premium Eco clothing produced to the highest standards. This is our first range of ECO clothing, with more to follow shortly after. The current range includes T-Shirts, Sweatshirts and Hoodies to cosy up in during the approaching winter months.
The range exclusively features images and messages about trees the environment and the future. The designs are unisex and come in a variety of colours and sizes. Some items also available in children’s sizing for our little saplings.
How is the Eco Clothing Made
NO TREES WERE HARMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING THIS CLOTHING
The creator at Visibull has created a unique process to produce hand made products direct from sections of genuine log. The results are striking and highlight the hidden natural beauty and age within each tree. The digitised images are then used as a base to create our eco range.
How are they ECO?
The ECO Clothing T-Shirts are sourced and made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton produced in India and provided by a top European company that specialises in making premium, sustainable clothing showing respect for both people and the planet. The sweatshirts and hoodies are made from 85% organic cotton and 15% recycled polyester.
The inks used are water-based NeoPigment inks which are absolutely free of heavy metals, and harmful chemicals such as Formaldehyde and Alkylphenol Ethoxylates (APE) making them non hazardous, non-toxic and biodegradable.
Garments are (GOTS) Global Organic Textiles Standard Certified,
OEKO-TEX Standard 100,
PeTA – Approved Vegan
FairWear standard.
Taking care of your Sustainable Eco Clothing
We recommend washing at 30 degrees C and line-dried. We don’t normally encourage the purchase of new clothing, However, these are sustainable items produced in a nurturing sympathetic manor to protect the environment and ensure the longest life possible for your garments, which due to their quality, should be a long time. Our Eco clothing is also made to order so there is no excess waste. Our garments are of such good quality, soft, long lasting and sustainable. Unlike many massed produced poor quality unsustainable items, you will not want to be throwing these away.
Taster
Here is a taster of the Eco Clothing Range we are soon to have on offer. They come in various sizes and colours. Some are also available in children’s sizes. Please keep an eye on our website and social media for when the merchandise becomes available.
